How do you send an SMS? Are you using the T9 input method? Are you also
wondering why you are using these small keys with numbers on it to enter
text while you have your Mac keyboard in front of you? Then SMS Mac is
for you. Use your Mac to enter SMS text and send the SMS through the
Internet. You don't even need a mobile phone. SMS Mac will send the SMS
for you.
SMS Mac comes in several flavors. An Address Book plug-in and a
Dashboard widget for Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) or Yahoo! Widgets (Windows XP,
Windows 2000 or Mac OS X 10.2 or higher). You decide which one works
best for you. Or use all three. The Address Book plug-in works with both
Panther (Mac OS X 10.3) and Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4). The Dashboard widget
was developed especially for Tiger, Apple's new version of Mac OS X.
