deb files: To expand on your desktop do this:
1. Open Terminal and cd to the directory of the deb file
2. Type:
ar vx filename.deb
To install on your iPhone if you choose not to use Cydia do this:
1. SFTP or SCP your deb file into /tmp
2. SSH into your iPhone with Terminal and type:
dpkg -i /tmp/filename.deb

Docs is a multi format document reader. Supports PDF, word, excel, powerpoint, (and more).
Put files on your device using SSH in folders or however you want. You
can use /var/docs and make folders in there. Then just scp or sftp the
files over.

FileViewer is a simple application to read local files. It can read text
files, images, PDF, HTML pages and much more. It can also surf the web,
to do so, type like this: http:// before the address. Example:
http://google.com And to read a local file you have to enter the full
path, like this: file:///web/FileViewer.html.
Using many mobile browsers, you can view both your documents and
spreadsheets; editing isn't possible at this time. Note also that
presentations are only accessible from the iPhone.
